On Monday, November 8th, our class visited Minnetrista Cultural Center.  We explored the Wetland habitat where we caught tadpoles in our fishing nets.  We also me John, a salamander.  We entered the woodlands and met Boxer, a box turtle.  We used binoculars to find birds that might be flying south for winter.  We also explored the prairie.  The children used butterfly nets to catch insects in the tall grassy area.  It was a great day of exploration.  A special thanks to Miss Coon for planning the field trip!
